air fryer protein bagels

These air fryer protein bagels are a delicious, high-protein twist on a classic breakfast favorite, perfect for a quick and healthy start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup high-protein flour blend
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the high-protein flour blend, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, water, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour your hands and shape the dough into 2-3 bagels by rolling the dough into balls and poking a hole through the center.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Brush the bagels lightly with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle chia seeds on top if desired.
  6. Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them, and cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove the bagels and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, slice the bagels and toast them with cream cheese or your favorite spread for a satisfying snack or breakfast.
