Bang Bang Salmon

Bang Bang Salmon is a flavorful, spicy seafood dish featuring crispy salmon fillets tossed in a creamy, tangy bang bang sauce, perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon, skin-side down, for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2 minutes, then transfer to the baking sheet.
  5. Bake the salmon in the oven for 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to make the bang bang sauce.
  7. Once salmon is cooked, remove from oven and drizzle generously with bang bang sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, serve the salmon over a bed of crispy fried wonton strips or steamed jasmine rice.
