Cookie Croissant

A deliciously flaky croissant layered with rich cookie dough, combining buttery pastry and sweet cookie flavors for a perfect indulgent treat.

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry or croissant dough
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the cookie dough evenly over one sheet of dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Place the second sheet of dough on top, sealing the edges by pressing gently with a fork.
  5. Cut the layered dough into croissant shapes or triangles.
  6. Brush each croissant lightly with the beaten egg and sprinkle sugar on top if desired.
  7. Place croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve warm with a drizzle of chocolate sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
