Garlic Butter Salmon

Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for an effortless gourmet meal.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, coating the salmon in the buttery garlic sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with steamed vegetables or a side of garlic mashed potatoes. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
