Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl

This Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl features tender salmon glazed with a sweet honey sauce, served over a bed of fluffy rice and fresh vegetables for a healthy and delicious meal.

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Flip the salmon and pour the honey glaze over the fillets. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon until cooked through and caramelized.
  4. Prepare serving bowls with cooked jasmine rice as the base.
  5. Top rice with steamed broccoli, julienned carrots, and sliced avocado.
  6. Place the glazed salmon on top and drizzle with any remaining glaze from the pan.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add toasted nuts or a sprinkle of chili flakes to the bowl for a spicy kick.
