Enjoy a refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Matcha Latte, combining the earthy flavors of matcha with the sweet, fruity notes of fresh strawberries in a creamy, delightful drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1-2 tsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced strawberries into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
  3. In a glass, combine the strawberry puree and matcha mixture.
  4. Heat the milk until warm (do not boil) and froth if desired.
  5. Add the warm milk to the glass and stir in honey or sweetener to taste.
  6. Add ice cubes if serving iced, then stir gently and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use almond or oat milk and maple syrup as a sweetener. You can also top the latte with whipped coconut cream for extra indulgence.
